In response to members’ requests for additional learning related to the additions to the Schedules, the Dr. Bruce Wainman will deliver an all-day workshop on content related to the additions to the Schedules.

The workshop will be practical in nature and offer plenty of opportunity for questions from participants.  We will be seeking input regarding areas of interest from all members who register for the workshop.

Prerequisite:
In order to participate in the workshop, you must have completed the modules and written the exam.  The workshop is an additional learning tool and is not an alternative to completing the modules.

The workshop is open to both those who have passed or failed the exam.

For those who have not passed the written exam there will be an option for an oral test at the end of the workshop. Successful completion of the workshop and the oral test will enable you to prescribe and order tests to the new authority without repeating the written exam.

Refunds:
Cancellation requests received by August 18, 2019 will be refunded minus an administration cost of $75.
We are not able to provide refunds after August 18, 2019.

Insufficient registration:
The CMM reserves the right to cancel one or both courses due to insufficient registration. Anyone registered for workshop that is canceled due to insufficient registration may attend the other workshop date or have their fees refunded. Members are responsible for their own costs related to transportation and/or accommodation as necessary.

Reminder! In order to ensure that all midwives are able to practice to the level of the Regulations, the CMM Council has approved revisions to the Standard for Additional Training for Expanded Authority that requires all practising members to complete the requisite education and examination by March 31, 2020.
Any midwife wishing to renew as a practising member in 2020 must have successfully completed the online modules and either successfully completed the workshop and oral test, or the written examination by March 31, 2020.
