Gap Training/Bridging is not available in Manitoba. Participating in Gap Training requires a commitment to full-time participation in another province for a minimum of 7-9 months
Gap training/Bridging is offered by the Internationally Educated Midwife Bridging Program at UBC in Vancouver, BC.
Gap Training may include several components:
- Self study modules
- Assessments and Classroom Intensives that take place in person
- A Clinical Practicum (Clerkship) which may take place anywhere in BC. Occasionally placements may be available in Manitoba.
