Council and staff members of CMM would like to announce that its 23rd Annual General Meeting will take place in-person. Web-conference connection will be available to those who wish to attend remotely.
The general nature of business to be considered at the formal annual general meeting will be:
1. Welcome
2. Chairperson’s and Registrar's Report
3. Proposed Bylaw Amendments
4. Report (Financial) of the Auditor
5. Resolutions presented by membership (if received)
6. Adjournment
Please be reminded that as per clause 25.1 of the CMM By-law “Any member may deliver a written notice to the registrar requesting the introduction of a resolution no later than ten (10) days prior to the date of the annual general meeting or special general meeting." Requests outlining the resolution and its rationale must be submitted to registrar@midwives.mb.ca no later than 10:00 a.m. on June 11, 2024.
As per Section 5.6 of the Midwifery Act, student members are not entitled to vote at an AGM.
